Google has rebranded its experimental AI service, Bard, to Gemini and has introduced a new AI model named Ultra 1.0. Additionally, Google has unveiled a mobile app for Gemini, available on both iOS and Android platforms.
Sissie Hsiao, Vice President and General Manager of Gemini, announced the upgrades and shared insights into how users have engaged with the AI since its inception as Bard. “People worldwide have embraced it, leveraging AI in innovative ways,” stated Hsiao, underscoring its versatile applications ranging from job interview preparation to imaginative image creation.
Introducing Gemini Advanced
Google has unveiled Gemini Advanced, the latest iteration of its Gemini platform. Powered by Google’s cutting-edge AI model, Ultra 1.0, the company touts it as their most advanced AI system to date.
Gemini Advanced is engineered to excel in intricate tasks such as coding, logical reasoning, and creative endeavors. Notably, it possesses the ability to sustain lengthy conversations and grasp context from prior interactions.
According to Google, Gemini Advanced can serve as a personal tutor, offering coding guidance and aiding content creators in generating fresh concepts.

Currently accessible in English across more than 150 countries, Google has plans to introduce support for additional languages in the near future.
Google One AI Premium Plan
Google has introduced the rollout of Gemini Advanced alongside a fresh premium subscription tier named Google One AI Premium.
Priced at $19.99 monthly, this plan encompasses all the existing features of Google One Premium, including 2TB of cloud storage and access to Google’s newest AI innovations.
Subscribers of this new plan will soon gain access to Gemini technology integrated into Google’s suite of productivity tools, such as Gmail, Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets.
Mobile Access To Gemini
In response to the demand for mobile accessibility, Google is introducing a new app for Android and incorporating Gemini into the Google app on iOS.
Gemini will seamlessly integrate with Google Assistant on Android devices, offering users voice control over connected home devices. Comparable capabilities will soon be available on the iOS Google app.
