Meta has rolled out several updates to Meta AI, introducing advanced image generation and editing features directly in Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp feeds. These enhancements are now available in more countries and languages.
Meta AI is introducing a new feature called Imagine Me, which allows users to generate and edit AI-powered photography in real-time while posting or messaging. Imagine Me uses a prompt to transform an uploaded image into creative visuals.
Currently in beta, this feature is launching first in the United States. According to Meta:
“Imagine Me lets you create images based on a photo of yourself with prompts like ‘Imagine me surfing’ or ‘Imagine me on a beach vacation’ using our advanced personalization model. Just type ‘Imagine me’ in your Meta AI chat, then add prompts such as ‘Imagine me as royalty’ or ‘Imagine me in a surrealist painting.’ You can then share these transformed images with friends and family, perfect for adding a fun or unique touch to your group chats.”
Meta’s platforms—Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Instagram—are now equipped with advanced editing tools that let users add or remove objects from images and make extensive modifications, such as transforming a cat into a dog. A new “Edit With AI” button will be introduced next month, offering even more AI-powered editing features.
Starting this week, users can begin adding AI-generated images to their feeds, posts, stories, comments, and messages on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp in English, with support for additional languages coming soon.
Meta AI has expanded to seven new countries, increasing its availability to 22 countries overall. It is also now accessible in seven additional languages.

Meta AI is now offering its most advanced model, Llama 405B, to users, showcasing its superior reasoning capabilities that excel in tackling complex questions and performing math and coding tasks.
According to Meta AI:
“Llama 405B can assist with your math homework by providing step-by-step explanations and feedback, speed up your coding with debugging support and optimization tips, and help you master intricate technical and scientific concepts with expert guidance.”
